Families who select cremation have many options available to them for memorialization. It is important to remember that commemorating the life of a loved one is an emotional and personal experience. During the cremation process, intense heat reduces human remains to their original elements. Our trained staff will bring your loved one to the crematory in a cremation container. Following cremation, we will receive the cremated remains and place them into an urn that has been selected by the family. There are several options a family has in the final disposition of the remains at this point, including:

• Inurnment – Burial or Niche
  

With cremation, you have options on the final disposition of the cremated remains, including above ground entombment in a niche at one of our local cemeteries. The most common in our area is a ceremonial scattering at sea. Scattering is a symbolic return of a loved one to the earth and can be a complete or partial scattering on land or in water.   Providing a place for memorialization at home is another way to hold the memory of a loved one close.
